On 12th June, we held a launch event to mark our Leek Moorlands hub coming together to co-locate with Better Way Recovery
The day contained speeches and poetry from our team, a ribbon cut and some amazing food, including some custom Better Way cupcakes!
We are so thankful to everyone who made this collaboration possible and want to share our gratitude to all who joined us to celebrate this amazing milestone! We can’t wait to see where this partnership will lead!
T3 Keele University ketamine awareness drop-in
Our T3 keyworkers Lakin and Terry organised a campaign at Keele University as part of the initiative to raise awareness about ketamine use. A number of students and staff attended to discuss the T3 referral pathway as well as other treatment pathways. The risks of ketamine and ketamine bladder were discussed and keyworkers provided harm reduction advice to those in attendance.
T3 harm reduction school drop-ins
Our T3 worker in the North, Terry, has been working incredibly hard throughout January, visiting several schools and running drop-in sessions focused on harm reduction advice and education around a range of substances, for young people aged between 11 and 16. One of these sessions was also supported by our wonderful YOS worker, Swayzie.
