The invisible risk of using alone

Using alone is common… but it means that help is not nearby.

Many people use drugs on their own for lots of reasons. You might prefer your own space. You might not want to share your drugs. Or you simply don’t want other people around.

Whatever the reason, using alone can increase the risk if something goes wrong. If you overdose or become unwell, there may be nobody there to recognise what’s happening, call for help or give naloxone.

No judgment. Just options.

This page isn’t here to judge your choices or tell you what to do.

It’s here to help you think about what happens next and share some tips that could help reduce the risk.
